Head Curtain Dock Seal

CC series loading dock access seal (Fixed Curtain Head) consisting of:

  • 2 side legs with solid base, high-density polyurethane core and lined with industrial PVC canvas.
  • 1 head fixed on industrial PVC tarpaulin, side tensioners to secure the tarpaulin against the wind and galvanized tube to stiffen.

Description

The function of dock seals is to reduce the exchange of air between the ship and the outside, as well as provide security in loading and unloading operations by avoiding visual or direct contact by providing a tight seal between the truck and the dock or loading dock. This keeps temperatures constant and keeps bugs, moisture and other things out of your building.

Design

  • Trapezoidal section legs to increase the use of vehicle width as well as facilitate the alignment of the truck to the seal.
  • Solapas de desgaste como estándar de 12” de alto espaciadas cada 8” y en lona de 40 onzas.
  • Signage with yellow PVC tarpaulin to guide the truck.
  • External side air vents on the legs to reduce compression stress.
  • Eyelet at the bases of the legs to drain accumulated rainwater.
  • Installation hardware in lime galvanized sheet. 14.
  • Wedge-type leg base to prevent damage with platform stops and bottom sealing flap.

Materials

  • Base en madera de pino estructural estufada y tratada de 1½” de espesor.
  • Alma de espuma de poliuretano densidad 17 de 35 kg. por mt³ de a alta resiliencia, compresible y a uta-reformativa.
  • Forros en lona de PV C de 24 onzas por Yd² de alta resistencia a la ruptura, rasgado y abrasión con tramado en fibra de poliéster 14X14 hi los por pulgada cuadrada.

Applications

  • Bodegas secas y refrigeradas donde se requiere el mejor sellado para polvo e Insectos.
  •  Vanos con alturas mínimas de 8′ (para vanos más bajos se recomiendan otros modelos)
  • Flotilla vehicular con alturas poco variables.
